Whether he’s your biological dad, your step-dad, your kids dad or your ‘Uncle Fred’ who was like your dad but isn’t your dad; it’s that time of year, where we give thanks to the man in our life, who has shown us what it really means to be a dad.
Few of us would doubt the therapeutic benefits of a great shower, from helping us face the day ahead, to washing away the day’s worries. But the harsh water found in many areas, can mean our therapeutic showers, have some not so therapeutic qualities.
With this weekend set to reach highs of 25 degrees, its time to starting thinking about protecting ourselves and our little ones from those harmful UVA and UVB rays. I’m not sure about you ladies but I’d be kidding myself to think that my husband has already purchased my Valentines gift. If you’re anything like me, hunting out a clean, lean healthy lunch ‘to go’ in central London can take the better half of your lunch hour. I’ll walk to Pret, check the lables, put it back, head to Itsu read the lables put it back, go to Starbucks decide there is nothing there either and more often than not head back to the first joint and go through the whole process again. Feeling frustrated and annoyed, I’ll then decided to push through the hunger and wait until I get home.
