12 Tips to Reduce Cellulite Fast

12 Tips to Reduce Cellulite Fast

As we emerge from the worst health crisis in decades, many of us come to the realisation that the lockdown, necessary and life-saving as it was, has not been kind to our figure. For most of us being stuck indoors all day simply meant more snacking and less exercise.

Luckily the weather is now improving and the lockdown is being gradually lifted, which means we can nourish our bodies and minds with more sunshine and exercise out in the open.

To help you get into shape faster, skin tightening and cellulite specialist Georgios Tzenichristos of LipoTherapeia has written 95 tips on how to improve your figure naturally, based on his 19-year experience.

Georgios is sharing with us 12 of those dos and don’ts, to help you reduce cellulite and tighten up your skin without professional treatments, which are not available until 4th July.

  1. Lose the sugar - yesterday. Sugar is the number one cause of cellulite today.

  2. Start interval training. Interval training boosts metabolism and stimulates circulation and skin firming more than any other form of exercise.

  3. Start vegetable juicing & have berry fruit smoothies -  to get the ultimate anti-cellulite nutrients

  4. Forget about gimmicks such as dry brushing and coffee be a scrubbing. They only scratch the surface.

  5. Have seriously wholesome anti-cellulite meals, such as non-farmed salmon, seaweed salad, green tea and black rice

  6. If possible, quit the contraceptive pill and smoking, two other major causes of cellulite

  7. Eliminate hydrogenated/fried fats and oils from your life. They short-circuit your metabolism and cause ageing, inflammation, free radical damage and, of course, fat accumulation.

  8. Have lots of water, still or sparkling (contrary to popular belief sparkling water does not cause cellulite).

  9. Learn to love decaf (coffee, tea, green tea) and cocoa. Polyphenols in these foods are highly effective against cellulite.

  10. Detoxify your life from plastics and BPA. Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) / xenoestrogens, are a major risk factor for cellulite.

  11. Discover polyphenols and carotenoids, the most important anti-cellulite nutrients (both found in fruit and veg).

  12. Introduce daily contrast (hot and cold) showers on your legs, the easiest and best circulation and metabolism booster.

For faster results after the lockdown ends, you can have a course of deep tissue radiofrequency treatments or strong cellulite-specific massages..
